Here at Insight Eyecare Optometry, we are proud to offer visual field tests to our patients.

A visual field test is used to measure your entire scope of vision. This includes not only your regular vision but also your peripheral (side) vision. The test is very subjective, and you need to understand the testing instructions and cooperate fully to ensure your test is as accurate as possible.

Often visual field tests are used to look for glaucoma and damage to the optic nerve. However, they can also be used to find retinal disease, eyelid diseases, and diseases that change the way your eyes and brain communicate, along with several other eye problems.

If you have any questions about visual field tests, feel free to contact us today at (831) 476-7744 (Capitola) or (831) 438-5526 (Scotts Valley).
